Wrioney Events is an initiative to organize and host events and projects featuring (the relationship between) Wriothesley and Lyney from Genshin Impact with all dynamics. Everyone is welcome to participate in these events, regardless of creative skill level or familiarity with the pairing!Besides the projects from the existing team, it is also possible to use the platform to host your own projects or share ideas with us. About

A gift exchange is an event in which members of a fandom create fanworks for each other.As a participant, you will be assigned a partner for whom you will create a gift based on the wishes listed in their application. This partner will not be aware of your identity until the end of the event. Likewise, you will only find out about your gift at the end of the exchange.This event is open for both dynamics (Wrioney and Lysley), but you will be able to fill out your preferences for one specific dynamic.

Rules

1. You must be an artist or writer of at least 18 years old to participate.2. Keep your identity and gift hidden until the posting period.3. Please abide by all boundaries and triggers stated by your partner.4. You must be able to stick to the schedule. Everyone partaking is putting a lot of time and effort in creating a personal gift for their partner. It is expected of you to do the same.5. If you think you need an extension and/or are thinking of dropping out, you must contact the organizer as soon as possible to find a solution and ensure your partner will receive a gift by either you or a pinch hitter.6. This Gift Exchange Event is centered around Wriothesley and Lyney. Please do not add other characters to the pairing unless your partner requests it.7. The use of generative AI is strictly prohibited.8. During the posting period, you will post your gift on a public platform (preferably Twitter or AO3) with the hashtag #WrioneySecretSanta2025.9. This event is inclusive of all members of the Wrioney fandom. If you're worried that you may not feel comfortable creating a gift for someone whose content you do not agree with, please reconsider signing up. Anyone who harasses or refuses to provide the gift for their assignee will not be invited back for future events.10. Have fun!

I don't know what to put in my wishlist or can't come up with any themes/tropes, what should I do?
Check your favorite fics and go through the tags, they usually reveal exactly what you like to see. Alternatively, look at art you enjoy, or perhaps even the art or writing you create yourself. What make them so enjoyable to you? Write those down in your wishlist!I don't feel like my work is good enough to join, am I still allowed to?
Anyone who loves the pairing can join, regardless of skill level. All you need is to be able to create your gift with love!Is it allowed to request other characters?
Other characters are allowed to be requested as long as Lyney and Wriothesley are still part of the main focus. You can request side characters or even a polycule, but keep in mind that not everyone is comfortable creating that and your partner might decide to pick something else from your wishlist. Also, as a creator, don't add characters as a major part of your gift unless your partner asked for it.Am I allowed to add any other characters if my partner didn't ask for it?
You can add characters in your work for context (for example Lynette or Sigewinne), but it's best to make sure not to make them a major part of the work unless your partner specifically requests it.Is there a maximum to what I am allowed to create for the exchange?

This is a small 3 day event meant to bring Wrioney fans together and promote creativity and summer vibes!Each day has an overarching theme, multiple singular word prompts, and 3 quotes to draw inspiration from. Q: Can i submit a drawing made with a program like clip studio paint, procreate, etc?
A: This is an MSPaint zine, which means using a basic drawing tool that is accessible to everyone. If you don't have access to MSPaint, you could use a similar program with limited tools, no fancy brushes or layers (for example 98 Paint for iOS, an MSPaint remake or even a doodle app on your phone). If you're worried it might not look good, it doesn't have to! It's just about having fun. good luck!

A ship week is, as the name suggests, a week dedicated to the (romantic) relationship between two characters. During the ship week, participants will be presented with prompts every day to center their creations around. You can take part however you want: through art, writing, or perhaps even edits, poetry or cosplay.In our case, we will post the list with all the prompts early enough so you have the chance to create in advance if that's what you want. You can also post late submissions all throughout November. (And December, or whenever you want!)

Do I have to sign up for the event?
This is an opt-in fandom event, which means that you can join in as you see fit. There is no obligation in how many pieces you create for the ship week, which means you can do as many as all seven, perhaps only one, or none at all. There is no sign up for a ship week, and anyone can take part.Can I join the Ship Week with a language other than English?
Of course, all languages are welcome!If I can't make the deadlines for the Ship Week, can I post at a later date?
Absolutely! If you need more time, feel free to post at a later date throughout November. (Or December and beyond, although we won't be able to guarantee your work being shared on our platform!)Do I need to use all of the prompts per day?
You can use all prompts, only some, or just one. That's completely up to you.Are sketches allowed?
Of course! There's no minimum requirement. You could even contribute with some stickmen if that's what you wanna do. Feel free to participate in a way that's most comfortable for you.What is the 'wildcard' prompt?
The wildcard is a bonus prompt, fully up to the creator's interpretation. You may choose to incorporate it in your work somehow, or leave it out completely. It was a suggestion from the interest check and we thought it would be a fun optional addition to the prompts!Can I use prompts from the NSFW Week for SFW submissions and vice versa?
Although the prompts are mainly created for these separate weeks, you may use them as you see fit! Just make sure to tag them accordingly so that those who might not want to see NSFW content can avoid it.Am I allowed to join the Ship Week if I identify as proship?
Of course! Our events are open to everyone!Am I allowed to repost and use old work during the ship week?
While we cannot stop anyone from reposting their older work, it is preferable everyone creates new work inspired by the provided prompts for the ship week.
